- WOHLSCHLEGEL'S NAPLES MAPLE FARM -

About eight years ago, as we were just “officially” getting into the family maple business, we decided to visit other sugarhouses during Maple Weekend (a state-wide maple open house event). One of the sugarhouses we traveled to was the beautiful Wohlschlegel's Naples Maple Farm in Naples, NY. Even though we arrived at the tail end of "open" hours, Bobbi and Garry Wohlschlegel welcomed us in with open arms. Once they learned we were also "maple people", a sweet new friendship was born. We received the grand tour of their facility and even went out to dinner with them. We had just met but had the most wonderful time discussing maple and learning about each other. They had built what we dreamed of, so we soaked up everything they had to say. Over the years, our relationship grew as we worked together in different aspects of the maple industry. They became some of our closest peers.
